General Donations: given to Beginning Experience for no reason other than someone has heard about us or observed the work that we do in the community to help those in need. The donation is made to ensure that Beginning Experience remains a viable support group for the widowed, divorced, and separated in the community that we serve.

Memorial Gifts: honoring the memory of someone who has touched your life. Families can specify “memorials to Beginning Experience in lieu of flowers.”  At the end of each month in which donations have been received, Birmingham Beginning Experience sends out lists of donors to the family of the person remembered.

Honorariums: expressing love and respect for a living family member or friend. This gift is a thoughtful way to observe a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or for a special recognition.
